Game Description

As the Kingdom faces an incoming horde of the undead, an opportunist finds a way to earn his keep! Play as a Mercenary Tower Builder and fight against the horde to protect Crystal Structures essential to the Kingdom's survival. Choose to build your own towers or invest in existing ones and make your cut. No, your job here is not to protect the Kingdom, it is just to make money!

Project Information

Mananite is a 3D Tower Defense Game as part of a studio project during my diploma studies. We wanted to develop a game where it foregoes the standard win condition of survival, and focus on other objectives, which led to the design of an additional investment feature, coupled with the main goal of earning enough of the game's currency, Mana.

Some notable contributions I had in this project was the development of turrets, which is done through polymorphism, as well as the development of the Mana system - the uses, how it is earned, and how it works as a game objective. I was also heavily involved with GUI animations and the development of visual feedback for the game.
